Commercial Irrigation System

In the year 2006, the multi-award winning Bents Garden Centre at Glazebury embarked on one of their most ambitious projects to date, namely to erect an all weather shopping area which would allow the sale of plants in any weather conditions from cold stormy days to glorious summer days with the customer always in comfort. The structure was the first of it’s kind in the UK with a rapidly opening and closing roof some 8m high.

TerrAqua was involved from the very early stages, working in close collaboration with Ron Bent, Mark Downton and the main contractors Eric Wright Construction. The first target was to assess exactly what type of irrigation system was required and how to ensure a discreet installation which would still enable maximum flexibility.
